The course will provide a course overview of the Master program on cyber-physical and embedded systems. Basic concepts and forms of computing in CPS and embedded systems will be discussed and properties such as real time, dependability, cyber-intelligence, safety and security will be covered. Basic scheduling techniques will be introduced as well as overview of key protocols for wireless communication will be presented. Then main operating systems and processor architectures used in the CPS and embedded systems will be reviewed followed by applications case studies and trends.
