Biography
Mario Padula joined the USI as Professor of Economic Policy in 2015, and he was before Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at the University of Salerno and Associate Professor at Ca' Foscari University of Venice. He obtained his PhD at University College London in 2001. His main research interests are in the economics of consumer behavior, applied microeconomics and applied econometrics, currently focusing on saving, pension, household portfolio choice and financial literacy. Dr. Padula’s work has been published, among others, in the Journal of Public Economics, the Review of Economics and Statistics, the Journal of European Economic Association, the European Economic Review and Labour Economics.
