Biography
Graduated in 1990 from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (dipl.ETH-Z) and owner of the architectural studio Balestra first in Bellinzona and then in Bigorio. From 1984 to 1991 he trained and worked at Aurelio Galfetti's studio in Belinzona. Study on the teaching of the use of digital and print in architecture. Researcher and developer of new technologies for the representation of the project in the digital environment. From November 1999 to 2018 USI lecturer in Digital Representation (Bachelor 1 and 2) and from 2019 USI lecturer in Advanced Digital Representation Master 1 at Università della Svizzera italiana, Accademia di architettura. In 2021 recognition as Academic Partner (first in Switzerland) by EPIC Games.
