Abstract

The aim of the project is to develop a Masters in Health Rehabilitation through Physical Exercise in non-clinical settings based on the "Tuning" project framework. Specifically the project will develop: (1) Modules tailored to health rehabilitation through physical exercise; (2) Teaching materials that utilise learning objects; (3) A Virtual Learning Environment that facilitates learning and assessment; (4) The dissemination of results to a wider European audience; (5) The transfer to other practitioners.
The University of Lugano collaborates in the establishment of pedagogical strategies, modules, learning outcomes, assessment regime of the Masters programme "Health Rehabilitation through Physical Exercise". All activities have to be compatible with a blended learning approach. Lugano collaborates in the production of learning materials in a digital format including the development of meta-data for the description of the reusable learning objects. Lugano also collaborates in the production of a web-page that is the gate for accessing the VL Platform, and in the production of a web-based virtual learning platform that facilitates communication between the consortium members.
