Description
The course will focus on methods, tools and strategies in designing sustainable architecture. Its 'How to' lecture series include: How to avoid unnecessary costs to the environment by discovering and developing existing potentials and using existing resources; How to influence behavior and create positive social and economic impacts; How to manage the life cycle of our buildings; How to influence the energetic performance of the built environment with efficiency and sufficiency strategies; How to integrate architecture and building systems and how to promote health and well-being with architecture. The course will alternate between lectures, practical research and analysis of exercises.
