Description

Objectives
Deliver, by experienced practitioners, a view on selected Private banking topics, featuring both  the holistic offering of the wealth management model and practices of the industry, together with key elements of the PB blueprint.
The course also aims at reducing the gap between the professional and the academic worlds, providing the students with the opportunity to liaise with industry professionals.

Description / Program
The goal of the seminar is to reflect on the changing landscape of the wealth management industry examining the challenges, opportunities and innovative trends that characterize Swiss and global wealth management. The seminar highlights aspects of a holistic, cross-disciplinary offering, the changing role of the relationship manager and the unique blend of competencies needed to realize a superior client experience. It also provides some insights as to secular trends like digitalization and sustainability and on key processes of the value chain.

Learning Method / Style of Lessons
The format of the course is based on classes, 2-hours each week for 28hours/semester, led by industry practitioners covering the selected topics. Case studies throughout the whole program are key to support the course objectives.

Exam Style
Written. Students must elect one topic out of those discussed and have it approved. Exam will encompass the selected topic. Divided into 2 sections: open book (80%  of evaluation) and MC questions (20% of evaluation)
