Description

The course aims to provide theoretical knowledge required for interpreting and managing intercultural differences that affect ethics and policymaking in the context of democratic societies.
A second learning objective is to provide students with a basic understanding of the application of intercultural dialogue to contemporary global challenges (with a special focus on human rights and migration).

Objectives

Basic/introductory knowledge useful to adequately understand and explain ideas and concepts as well as to connect the individuation of basic abilities and skills needed to clarify one’s own positions and to put them to the test of concrete dialogical interactions.

Examination information

At the end of each term of the course, the student must take a written examination. It focuses on the topics covered during the course as well as on the texts listed in the bibliography.
The examination consists of an open question. The answer must be 3000 characters long, including spaces.
The examination paper must be uploaded onto the dedicated area on the eLearning platform, during the exam session.
