PhD in Economics

Description

The doctoral programme addresses graduates of promising talent and keen to launch into a high-profile career. From time to time the Faculty advertises doctoral student positions regulated by contracts (with teaching assistant or graduate researcher status). This is the framework in which PhD students set out on their research paths.
The Faculty awards one single postgraduate degree: the PhD in Economics. The minimum duration is three years. The degree is awarded to the candidate who has successfully completed the set doctoral programme (30 ECTS) and ‘defended’ his/her PhD thesis. A thesis must be a significant contribution to the advancement of learning in a given field of study. A number of theses completed and accepted in the past few years have been successfully published.
