Trends and Threats in Cyber-security
People
Description
The class focuses on cyber-security related issues, specifically around hardware security, system security, and privacy. In addition to core system security challenges, cyber-physical systems are particularly vulnerable to physical attacks, and their ubiquity makes privacy and anonymity a top end-user concern. Class topics thus include side channel attacks, hardware trojans, security protocols, network and web security, and privacy enhancing technology. A final section will look into future trends, such as quantum cryptography and post-quantum cryptography.
