Description
The course focuses on the fundamental standards which govern international relations; after a description of the relevant legal instruments, particularly international treaties and conventions, as well as of existing compliance and enforcement mechanisms, the concept of statehood will be studied and some renowned international and supranational organizations will be presented, primarily the United Nations and the European Union. The course concludes with a chapter dedicated to neutrality.
