Aim
The course presents the main concepts of Economics, at an introductory level. It covers both Microeconomics and Macroeconomics issues, related to the economic method, demand and supply, elasticities and their applications, national income, inflation, money, growth, unemplyoment and trade.
Textbook
N. Gregory Mankiw, Mark P. Taylor, Economics, Cengage Learning, 3rd or 4th Edition are both fine.

Grading
The grading is based on the completion of handouts delivered during the course (30%) and on the exam paper (70%). Questions are both numerical exercises, multiple choices and open questions.
