Description
By making use of elementary tools of visual representation and analysis, the course expounds the elementary categorical system needed to study the socio-economic structure of the European contemporary city. To understand the relationship between the social and physical city (architectures and spatial organization), and how the social city and the physical city co-evolve, is the main aim of the course. The study of this relationship will be conducted by using as case studies urban transformation projects that are shaping the evolution of the European city.
