Building Integrated Sutainability
People
Description
The architect has to possess the ability to manage design choices from the earliest stages, independently integrating sustainability into the brief. The need for greater sustainability should not lead to compromises, but offer new opportunities. The theoretical fundamentals and the instruments of assessment provide guidelines for the strategies of project management, to improve the interaction between specialists and provide support in evaluating priorities. During the course, computerised tools (BIM, sustainability assessment software), will assist in analysing case studies to understand and manage strategies for sustainable design, through quantitative assessment of energy, materials and comfort.
