A “comparative history of the museographical traditions of Europe” looks through a variety of media, such as lectures, films, web sites and studies, at the European museum from the Age of Enlightenment to the Twenty-First Century, from some of the high points of patrimonial display and representation (and its constitution) to nationalist exploitation and deliberate destruction in times political conflict.
