Description

During the course, students learn to relate to space through physical exercises geared to a knowledge of anatomy and movement, and build artefacts that amplify what the body as engine performs by living in a place. By means of exercises that give rise to a “real and public” experience, called Mise en scène, the course aims to develop constructive expertise through the knowledge of the relationship between matter and mechanics, and geometry as the abstraction language underlying the project. It introduces some elements of that process which shapes the ability to distinguish and relate to the physical and social world, in keeping with one’s choice of profession to which technical education should always be related.
