Description
The purpose of the course is to focus on cultural mediations, not only cognitive but also imaginative, that substantiate the various ideas of landscape and garden. It does this not only by traversing periods and authors in the history of aesthetics but also by analysing specific creations. The course aims to explore this dimension rich in allegories, analogies, correspondences and constellations. The critique of landscape without a memory and survivals is to be understood as a part of critical theory, and must also be expressed in terms of utopian-reparative project work.
