Project: Various Typologies

In the 2019 autumn semester, four design studios (Arnaboldi, Bonnet, Collomb, Nunes-Gomes) will share the same project area: the Loire Estuary, that extends from Nantes to Saint-Nazaire. Each atelier will work on an independent theme and programme, while sharing the cartographic and iconographic material, theoretical lectures and some critiques. The area of intervention, 60 km long between the two port cities, requires questions about the territory, the urban development, the heating and the ecosystem. The landscape is alive and very varied, depending on the season and the tides. These themes will be studied during the semester.
