Conservation, Reuse and the Practice of Restoration

Description

The course, understood as a series of lectures on “applied theory”, is carried out through lectures, daily study trip, thematic exercises and seminars. The topics are mainly dealt with from a practical point of view, through the presentation of case studies (“DALL’OFFICINA DEL PROGETTO” and " RICERCA APPLICATA"), the explanation of working tools (“TOOLS”) and the illustration of working methods (“HOW TO WORK”). Course attendance is mandatory, at least for 80% of the activities. During the semester two exercises to be performed in “the field” are explained and assigned; the collective discussion and the delivery of these exercises replace the exam.
