Description
The Software Institute (SI) Seminar Series features talks on Software Engineering topics given by members of the Software Institute as well as guest speakers. The seminars are oriented toward an open discussion on the selected topic: the format consists of 20 minutes for the presentation followed by 20 minutes for discussion (the first question is supposed to be made by a PhD student). The content may be on any Software Engineering topic, including: a recent paper; a foundational/classical paper; the speaker’s own paper; some preliminary research ideas; a tutorial; a small experiment. Seminars are open to participants outside the SI.
The list of upcoming seminars is available at the SI web site: si.usi.ch.
