Description
The course aims at introducing students to key critical issues in relation to the transformations of the contemporary city and of urbanisation processes at large. Such issues will be presented and discussed based on a combination of theoretical explorations of contemporary debates that have mostly developed in the fields of geography, urban sociology and planning and on the presentation of relevant case studies, predominantly pertaining to the European and North-American contexts. __________________________________________________________________________________
