Description

The purpose of the course is to provide students with an adequate knowledge of the role of law in architecture; in particular it seeks to identify the legal significance, advisability and risks of concrete situations bound up with the architect’s work. The course will enable students not only to understand the general interdisciplinary links between architecture and law but also to appraise the ethical-legal principles underlying the work of the architect and, concretely, to find legal solutions, at least in principle, to the typical conflicts entailed in the practice of architecture as a profession.
