Description
The course will show how the horizon of the aesthetic experience should not be restricted to the experience of “art”. Aesthetics, if conceived starting from its original link with perceiving and feeling, needs to be investigated as the threshold on which meet the self and the other, the self and the world, or the bodies of different species and genres, questioning the primacy of representation and subjective projection. In terms of aesthetics, by exploring bodies and spaces, in some cases of very different kinds, we will therefore question the emergence of the dimension of meaning.
