Description
The workshop offers a course in three steps to convey to students the basic concepts of cinematographic technique applied to architecture. The first phase consists of a two-day excursus through milestones in the history of cinema: by viewing footage of films by different directors from different countries and periods, it gives students a general overview. In addition to this approach to styles, students are offered opportunities to watch films or excerpts from films more closely related to architecture. This first phase intersects with the second, productive phase. We will at once identify the various subjects and narratives to be performed in the chosen setting and the découpage will be developed. In this way, on the third and fourth days we will do the filming and then the third phase will begin, devoted to editing and post production.
