Law and Practice of Capital Markets

Description

The course conveys the necessary knowledge to understand the legal implications of capital market-related communications and covers an array of real-life situations, such as:

  • the communication processes accompanying an Initial Public Offering (IPO) incl. public disclosure and road shows for institutional investors,
  • communication strategies in public takeover situations,
  • the drafting of marketing documents for investment products offered to retail investors,
  • measures to prevent market abuse, including the public disclosure of price relevant information and the notification of managers' transactions.

Teaching will be practice-orientend and interactive, involving the discussion of real-life case studies.
