Sustainable Design Lab
People
Description
The Sustainable Design Lab was set up to explore new methods of sustainable design and thinking in architecture and their implementation in reality and teaching. In the spring semester we will develop methods of architectonic research and strategies for sustainable transformation – analyzing a concrete object that is in need of an architectonic rejuvenation. This will be radical reuse Lab – questioning our impulses on ‘making things better, nicer, whole’ – towards finding the most minimal intervention possible. We will apply different methods, calculations and evaluations to learn how to create an argument towards doing less and finding out what is really the right thing to do – instead of just doing things right.
