Francesco Lurati is Professor of Corporate Communication at the Faculty of Communication, Culture and Society of the USI Università della Svizzera italiana. He carries out research in the field of corporate communication, in particular on the topics of organizational identity, corporate reputation and crisis management. He has published in the Journal of Business Research, Strategic Organization, Corporate Reputation Review, Corporate Communications: an International Journal, International Journal of Strategic Communication and Journal of Public Relations Research. He is the academic director of the Master of Science in Corporate Communication and directs the USI Start-up Centre. Trained as an economist, he obtained his doctorate at the University of Fribourg. He has also carried out professional activities in the public and private sectors with which he continues to collaborate today.
