Amir Orujov is a PhD candidate at Università della Svizzera Italiana. He holds a Masters degree in IT & Economics from USI. His Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics gave him the strong foundation which was used extensively during his work in the Data Processing Center of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies. The IT and Economics program at USI enhanced and enriched his previous knowledge adding Statistics, Finance, Operations Management, Organizational Learning related skills to the existing ones. Currently, he is studying for a PhD at Università della Svizzera Italiana, his interest lies in Data Analytics and Risk analysis using Stata and R languages. His research interests include topics such as aspiration levels and their adjustment, performance feedback models and organizational change.
