Irina Lock is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Marketing and Communication Management. She obtained her PhD from the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the Università della Svizzera italiana in September 2015 with the thesis entitled: "Credibility in CSR Communication. Concepts, Methods, Analyses." The thesis won the best PhD prize 2014/15 of the Faculty of Communication Sciences.
Her research interests lie in corporate communication, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and public affairs. She completed her Master studies in corporate communication with a minor in CSR in 2011 at the Università della Svizzera italiana. Prior to that, Irina received her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Passau, Germany, where she pursued International cultural and business studies. Her previous experiences include: work in PR department, project management and the tourism sector.
