Ueda Hiroshi. B. in Kyoto, Japan. He received his Ph. D. degree in Electronic and Information Engineering at Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan, in 2004. After, working as a postdoctorate fellow at the Research Institute of Electrical Communication at Tohoku University, an Associate Professor in the Library and Information Technology Center at Gunma University, Professor Ueda joined Kyoto University as an Associate Professor in the Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies since 2011. From early on, Professor Ueda became interested in managing computer networks and servers and currently he manages the University system. His current research interests include: complex system, the immune system, mathematical modeling, data communication and networking.
