Biography

I am originally from Belarus, live and work in Switzerland. I am fluent in five languages: Belarussian, Russian, English, Italian & French, and I am studying German.

I have received PhD in 2014 with a thesis on education technology (use of ICTs in Human Resource Management and learning analytics).

As a project manager, I have coordinated the design, development and evaluation of two successful online training platforms “Switzerland Travel Academy” - online training course for international travel agents, commissioned by Switzerland Tourism & “eTourism: Communication Perspectives” - first eTourism related MOOC globally.

I currently work at USI – Università della Svizzera italiana (Lugano, Switzerland), where I am involved in the following activities:
- lecturer of these courses: Digital Fashion Communication, New Media For Tourism Communication, Social Media Management.
- academic coordinator of MSc in Digital Fashion Communication (www.usi.ch/mdfc), Double degree between USI and Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, France
- group leader in Digital Fashion Communication Research (www.digitalfashion.ch) at the Institute of Digital Technologies for Communication (USI), where I coordinate research activities by PhD candidates and Master students on online communication practices in fashion domain.

I work as visiting professor at the University of Pisa in Italy and Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in France.

I am actively involved with Google within Google Online Marketing Challenge as a part of its Global Academic Panel.

Research interests: digital transformation of communication and marketing, digital communication strategies, education technology (use of ICTs in HRM and learning analytics).

I have been a visiting researcher at Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Hong Kong), Business School of the University of Strathclyde (UK), Auckland University of Technology (New Zealand), and Operating Unit on Policy-Driven Electronic Governance of the United Nations University (Portugal) thanks to the scholarships funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation.
