Biography

Benjamin Lerch is a PhD student in Economics at USI. He obtained a B.Sc. in Economics and a M.Sc. in Applied Economic Analysis from the University of Bern. In 2019, he completed successfully the Swiss Program for Beginning Doctoral Students in Economics for which he was awarded the Doctoral Student Award. He is currently visiting the Economics Department of Stanford University in California. His research interests are in the fields of applied labor economics with a particular focus on the labor market impacts of automation.
