Mia Hägg is an architect and founder of Habiter Autrement (www.habiterautrement.net) with offices in Paris and in Locarno. In her early career she worked at Ateliers Jean Nouvel and Herzog & de Meuron, where she was Project Manager for the National Stadium of the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. In the 2008 Venice Biennale, she and Jean Nouvel were invited to show their urban project for Slussen in Stockholm. In Bordeaux, Habiter Autrement has built three award-winning public housing projects as well as a 100 metre long office building. In Paris the office has completed 42 rental housing units at the Entrepôt MacDonald. Among other work, the office is currently working on an extension of the former school of architecture in Stockholm, a significant brutalist landmark. In 2017 Mia Hägg was a guest professor together with Jan Åman for a Master Studio at Université Catholique de Louvain in Belgium (https://uclouvain.be/fr/sites/tournai/professeurs-invites-0.html).
