Simona Martinoli Stebler
Art historian, PhD. She studied in Zurich and Vienna and gained a from the Mendrisio Academy of Architecture. Director of the Fondazione Marguerite Arp in Locarno since 2016, she was curator at the Museo Villa dei Cedri in Bellinzona and from 2003 to 2016 has directed the Swiss Italian Office of the Society for the History of Art in Switzerland. She is the author of numerous publications dedicated to 19th and 20th century art and architecture and has curated numerous exhibitions. She was a member of the Board of Trustees of Pro Helvetia, the Swiss Arts Council (2000-2009) and member of the jury for the Swiss Pavilion at the Biennale d'arte and the Biennale d'architettura in Venice (2011-2014). She is a member of the Gottfried Keller Foundation, the Council of the Foundation Archivi Architetti Ticinesi and other committees and juries.
