Andrea Pellegrini


Andrea Pellegrini has recently got a master degree in statistics at the University of Bologna with a dissertation on “Impact of temperature on mortality: a survival analysis approach”. His work was basically focused on applying a Gompertz model in order to study the impact of high temperature on elderly people in the county of Bologna from 1995 to 2004. At present, he works for the Tourism Observatory (O-tur) at the Istitute for Ecomic reaserch and deals with analysis of tourism performance in both summer and winter season. He is a PhD candidate at Università della Svizzera italiana.
