Abstract

The Swiss Association for Smoking Prevention has created an awarness campaign to motivate smokers to give up this habit. Four messages, with the slogan "Ogni sigaretta fa male", have been transmitted in the Ticino´s cinemas, showing the negative consequences of cigarette smoke on people´s health. Ticino is the first Swiss Canton where the spots are transmitted. This evaluation will investigate the impact of the campaign in the perspective of understanding its possible implementation on a national level.
