Description
The course will focus on the basics of test development. In particular, the course aims at introducing methodological choices underlying test construction.
Objectives
At the end of the course the student will be able to understand the following topics:
- Domain sampling model
- Scaling procedures and models
- Reliability
- Validity
- Principles of Item Response Theory

Lectures and tutorials based on critical reading of published papers.
Examination information
Oral examination. An intermediate oral evaluation on domain sampling model, scaling procedures and models, and reliability is scheduled for September 27th, 2023 (30% of the final evaluation).
Attendance: 80% of classroom hours
