Data journalism and social media (UNISR)
Description
Science, medicine, and health are topics that the media traditionally focus on in emergencies: a sudden epidemic, an experimental treatment, or a vaccine. The course aims to analyze the different forms in which the media narrate such events, their effects on perception, and the comparison with real data. Case studies in the context of television and social monitoring laboratories will be presented during the course.
