Metaphysics and Experience
The course focuses on a question at the intersection of metaphysics, philosophy of mind, and epistemology: What is the relationship between human experiences as of a given phenomenon and the existence and nature of this phenomenon? We will consider this question for the following areas: composition and persistence of material objects, persistence of persons and selves, causation.
