Abstract
The activities planned during the period of leave are not linked to a single project, but to a portfolio of research activities that I am currently managing with my collaborators in Lugano, Zurich and elsewhere. More specifically, I plan to dedicate the period of leave to: (i) Conclude a number of ongoing projects that are currently open, and (ii) establish the foundations for new collaborative projects that I will be developing over the next five years. The former cluster of projects (ongoing) involves very specific pieces of work that are currently at a relatively advanced stage of development. The cluster of ongoing projects includes four subprojects. The period of leave is essential to ensure timely completion of these projects. The latter cluster of projects (new) involves activities that are less clearly defined because they are currently at the exploratory stage. The cluster of new projects includes four subprojects.
