Cave 1Q is the archaeological context in which the Great Isaiah Scroll was discovered. This chapter summarizes the cave’s morphology, finds, and archaeological significance, showing how the material evidence contributes to reconstructing the deposition of the Dead Sea Scrolls and to understanding them within their original cultural setting.
