From full consciousness to cerebral death

The course will guide the students in approaching the difficult topic of consciousness and its alteration, focusing on the new concept of consciousness both in term of vigilance and content, on its physiological alternation with sleep, and on the following pathological levels of consciousness depression such as stupor, coma, minimal state of consciousness, till the cerebral death.
