Lisa Maria Schiestel is a research and teaching assistant as well as a PhD candidate at the Institute of Marketing and Communication Management (IMCA). Her research is mainly concerned with pricing management and consumer behavior in an online environment. Her current work involves the study and optimization of online car configurators and she is a tutor in marketing research. Lisa holds a master’s degree in marketing management from Bocconi University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Mannheim. She won scholarships from the Haniel foundation and the German Academic Exchange Service for a visit to Guanghua School of Management, Beijing University, China. Previously, she has been working e.g. as an intern at Batten & Company – Marketing and Sales Consultants and in the international marketing department of Deutsche Bank PBC.
