Biography

​Natalija holds MCs in Informatics and Economics, with major in Management and Informatics from USI. At ICPP, she is a PhD student using interdisciplinary approaches ranging from humanities to scientometerics, with the goal of understanding how scholarly work and communication is shaped by and is shaping social conditions of science. She also supports the data collection for the European Tertiary Education Register (ETER).

Natalija's current research interests include:

  • Social structures and processes of scientific activity.
  • Influence of scientists' pursuit of resources on shape of science in general.
  • Factors contributing to the formation of scientific research questions.
  • The emergence of interdisciplinary research areas.
