Multimodal market potential in the transport of goods across the Alps

Among the most important, but so far not so well-researched factors accounting for the successful use of combined transport is information on the demands of shipping companies and the behaviour of participants in the marketplace. This project intends to assess existing elasticities in transalpine freight traffic demand in order to project the potentials of combined transport, and ultimately to analyse possible policies.
