Abstract
Our study suggests that a practice of intelligent appropriation of digital transformation within business organizations is possible when it results from a collective support implemented
by a plurality of actors exercising different functions. Based on a qualitative inquiry on 20 managers and HR managers, we analyze the formal and informal practices whereby
individuals and collectives take on prerogatives conventionally assigned to the HR function, contributing to support digital transformation. We thus help to clarify the conditions for
HR to support digitalization and collective intelligence.
