Description

It is a group-based learning experience which includes study trips and fieldwork in the organizations we study. We understand ‘sustainability’ as a triad of environmental, social and economic concerns, and strive to understand in the given context, how they can be appropriately balanced.

Objectives

The Sustainability Project aims to give you hands-on experience in sustainable business practices via direct exposure to such practices.

Learning methods

Learning methods are problem-centered. That is, the group(s) work as consultants to help the organization solve a concrete problem at the interface of business and sustainability. The pedagogy includes experiential learning and ethnographic fieldwork. There will be a minimum of three workshops throughout the semester to train you theoretically as well as methodologically for the field visits, as well as a final summit where we present the results of our work to the funding organization.

Examination information

Evaluation is based entirely on the final report and its presentation.
