Description

The course provides the basic knowledge and understanding of sustainable and integrative thinking and action in architecture: its rationale, foundations, and principles, and their application to architecture and design. It will alternate between theoretical classes, guest lectures by international practitioners and researchers, field trips, and practical assignments.

Objectives

The goal of the course is to help students be conscious and responsible in their design projects: to achieve the maximum positive impact on society with the minimum negative impact on the environment.
