Project I: Atelier Miller
People
Description
In the coming semester, we will design a cultural center – a place of encounter, exchange, and collective life. Today, cultural centers are a fundamental part of the social infrastructure. They offer democratic access to culture, bring together diverse communities, and create spaces where cultural identity can emerge and be critically explored. They are also conceived as countermodels to the culture of consumption. Instead of commercial interests, they promote openness, sharing, and collective action. In times of increasing social fragmentation, they make a vital contribution to cohesion and a shared sense of community.
Much has already been tried – but much remains to be discovered. Our curiosity, our desire to shape space, and our passion for this profession will guide us through the process. The project will be developed individually.
