Workshop: Filming Architecture

The starting point of every truly useful “film on architecture”: exploring a volumetric space over time, experiencing it to understand it better and reading its architectural project through the film. The analytical power of the first encounter with a building is translated into focusing, before and during the shooting, on all the elements that can stimulate an ever renewed perception of it. The objective is to enable the viewer to mentally reconstruct the overall space, starting from a succession of shots complemented by details. The 2018 workshop is a new workshop in the field with Heinz Emigholz, the most important European director of architecture films.
