Project BSc2-II: Housing

The second semester starts with the exercise of Redrawing of significant architectures and housing references. This practice allows students to acquire in a short period of time design tools related to the theme of collective housing and will be introduced, as usual, by a one-day visit to Milan. The annual theme of the Tectonics will be further explored and extended to the scale of the large building, to its structural, constructive and distributive peculiarities. Semantics and meaning, in the case of urban buildings, will play a crucial role in the formal and conceptual definition of the project. We will design a collective housing building in the area of the Constance Lake in Switzerland. A thematic trip to Scotland will complete this semester's didactics.
